2011/2012 WINTER DRESSAGE SERIES

Leigh and District's winter dressage series will return on Sunday, October 9th, including classes for beginner riders and green horses, at Landlords Farm Equestrian Centre, Dicconson Lane, Aspull.
Classes cost £9 non members/£6 members. Dressage membership costs £13 adults/£10 juniors. Members will be eligible for the end of season points trophy in each class.
This year we have scrapped the elementary class due to lack of interest, however we have added an extra novice class.

Sunday, November 27th | Due to a suspected virus at our venue, the next winter dressage has been postponed until Sunday, November 27. Tests will remain the same and all entries will automatically be moved over - if you wish to cancel please email leighanddistrict@yahoo.co.uk with your details and your cheque will be destroyed.

Please see rules for eligibility in beginner rider and green horse classes. No refunds will be issued if a horse or rider enter a class for which they are not eligible.
Rules:
Beginner Rider Intro classes are open only to riders who have never competed at novice level or above and/or have never won a prelim class. If a competitor wins a prelim class during the season they may continue to compete in intro classes until the end of the autumn/winter 2011/12 season.
Green Horse Intro classes are open to horses aged six years or below who have never been entered at novice level or above, and/or have never won a prelim class. If a green horse wins a prelim class during the season it may continue to be entered in intro classes until the end of the autumn/winter 2011/12 season.
Horses in Beginner Rider and Green Horse Intro to have no British Dressage points.
Competitors may not enter an intro and a novice test on the day.
Prelim classes are not open to any horse with more than 10 British Dressage points. Competitors who horse has 10 BD points or more who wish to use these classes as a warm up may compete HC. A rosette will be awarded in these classes to the highest placed green horse aged six years or below. Please mark on your entry form if your horse is eligible for a green horse rosette.
In the event of a tie, collective marks will be used to decide placings.
At the end of the season the member in each category who has accumulated the most points will be presented with a trophy. Points will be allocated as follows:
1st place - 5
2nd place - 4
3rd place - 3
4th place - 2
In addition all members will receive 2 points for each class they enter.
Please enter classes in the spirit in which they are intended.
